Kenyan Ruth Chepng’etich wins the Nagoya Marathon.

Ruth Chepng’etich has made Kenya proud by winning the Nagoya Women’s Marathon. The 2019 world champion proved that she is still a force to be reckoned with, crossing the line in 2 hours, 18 minutes, 8 seconds, ahead of Ayuko Suzuki of Japan who finished second in 2:21:52. Honami Maeda completed the podium in third place with a time of 2:22:32.

Chepngetich’s victory is a testament to her dedication and hard work in training.

Chepng’etich won the Chicago Marathon last year running the second fastest time of 2:14:18, missing out on the world record by 14 seconds.
