How many times should you brush your teeth, what motion should be used and should you rinse your mouth after brushing?
It turns out that many people might be going about the process in the wrong way.

According to the National Health Service (NHS), one should not rinse their mouth after spitting out toothpaste while brushing.

One should also not use mouthwash immediately after brushing as “it will wash away the concentrated fluoride in the toothpaste left on your teeth”.

When it comes to motion, one should use a circular motion rather than in a straight line.

One should also brush their teeth twice a day for two minutes each.

The site says that it does not matter whether you use a manual or electric toothbrush.

When shopping for a toothbrush, it is advised that one looks for a “small head and a compact, angled arrangement of long and short round-end bristles”.

When it comes to bristles, medium or soft work fine.

One is also advised to check packaging for the amount of flouride.
